Recipe of Klepon

Klepon or klelepon is a kind of traditional food that is included in the snack market. In Martapura, klelepon usually colored green with a sprinkling of grated coconut around.


  • 150 ml waters
  • 1 tablespoon pandan suji water
  • 1 teaspoon whiting water
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 250 grams of good quality sticky rice floor
  • 100 grams brown sugar, comb
  • 100 grams of coconut and a half old, peeled, grated lengtwise, broiled
How to make
  • mix water, suji water, whiting water, and salt
  • add glutinous rice flour, stir and knead untill well blended
  • shape each dough into 2 teaspoons balls
  • flat, fill with a little brown sugar, round back
  • simmer until balls float and mature
  • remove and drain
  • roll in sheredded coconut until evnly dressed
  • served
for : 40 fruits
